Alzheimer’s and Special Care Situations

South Carolina HomeCare understands and has extensive experience with special care situations that arise for seniors and their families.

Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia is something that many families across our nation are struggling with daily. South Carolina HomeCare understands the difficulties that your family faces when caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia and we are here to support you and meet your needs. By providing specialized Alzheimer’s care services in the home, you are doing one of the most positive things you can do for yourself as a family caregiver and for your loved one. Most Alzheimer's patients-particularly those in the early and middle stages of the illness-can be cared for at home for an extensive period of time with assistance. South Carolina HomeCare will work with you to develop a comprehensive care plan to take into account your loved one’s special needs, environment and personal likes and dislikes, thereby making daily life less difficult and stressful for you both. We are here 24 hours a day to meet your needs. South Carolina HomeCare is an advocate and supporter of the Alzheimer Association and hope that you will use this resource by visiting the Alzheimer’s Association website.
